WOWSafe Documentary

The South Australian Government Office for Volunteers and the Department of Screen and Media from Flinders University have collaborated with WOWSafe to produce this documentary

Women of the West for Safe Families (WOWSafe is an action group of women who have survived family abuse and work together to support families in crisis situations. WOWSafe works to increase community, government and judicial awareness of domestic violence and family abuse.

WOWSafe works to support women and families providing services including an emergency phone line, an information network resource listing, informal home visits and social events, and by accompanying women to court, police stations and government departments.

Documentary made by Flinders University screen production students Aimee Knight, Yasmine Ernst, Annalisa Farancesca, Kelly Carpenter and Mahbelle Kalsan.
